In 1998, Colette and her husband, Andy Bell, started Handyman Matters and developed it into a franchise model in 2001, launching a successful franchise system that was acquired by Ace Hardware in September of 2019.  Colette is currently serving as VP in Franchise Development for the re-branded Ace Handyman Services where they have seen growth since the acquisition from 119 territories to 389 territories covering 47 states.  Colette has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Colorado State University.
